The gate-fold brochure is best if you want to feature a large image that you don’t want to be folded or if you want to put emphasis on specific details.

4. Z-Fold Brochure: This type of brochure also consists of multiple equally-measured panels, but unlike the tri-fold type, this one has a different way of folding. While the tri-fold type folded its side panels towards one side of the brochure, the z-type is folded in a way that the ends of the two side panels never meet, giving it a letter Z-like appearance when viewed from a cross-section perspective.
