Types of Brochures

1. Bi-fold brochure: Also known as the half-fold, the bi-fold brochure consists of two panels separated by a fold in the middle. This type of brochure is ideal for simple product presentations, making them very common among businesses.

3. Gate-fold brochure: Unlike the tri-fold type, a gate-fold brochure divides the paper stock into three unequal parts with the middle panel being wider than the two on the sides. This brochure type commonly uses the letter size paper (8.5″ x 11″) and works perfectly with presentations that are heavy on the graphics.

4. Z-fold brochure: Same as the regular tri-fold, this brochure type divides the paper stock into three parts, the only difference between the two is that the Z-fold actually folds each panel over the other forming a Z-shape. The z-fold brochure type also works great for general presentations.

5. Roll-fold brochure: Also known as a barrel-fold brochure, this one has more folds and panels than the trifold. This type of brochure usually uses the legal size paper (8.5″ x 14″) and is folded in a rolling motion.

6. Accordion-fold brochure: This type of brochure is basically an extension to the Z-fold wherein this one has four or more panels, just like the roll-fold type. But just like the Z-fold, the accordion-fold brochure also has folds that are stacked on top of the other until the entire brochure resembles the accordion instrument.
