5 Steps to Creating a Planning Checklist
Step 1: Open Document
We will be masking the planning checklist using MS Word. At first, you need to open a new document from MS Word. Go to the File Menu and select Open New Document. A blank page will appear on the screen. We will be creating our planning checklist here.
Step 2: Insert Checklist
Now you need to go to the Insert Tab and select Symbol. A drop-down list will appear from where you need to select More Symbols. A Symbol window opens up from where you need to select the checkbox and select the Insert option.
Step 3: Activate Developer Tab
The next step you need to do is go to the Ribbon Menu and right-click to select the Customize Ribbon option. From the drop-down list of this option, select the Developer option, and click OK. Use the customized bulleted list and insert checkboxes into the Word Document.
Step 4: Print Only List
Now you are going to add the symbol in the checkbox. From the Home Menu, select the down arrow next to the bullets icon. Select any symbol of your choice and click OK twice. Your planning checklist is ready now!
Step 5: Add Items
The final step remains to add your list of items to the checklist and start using it. You will be able to add your things and check them off when you are done. If anything goes wrong, then double-check the steps and repeat.
