What is a Contract Template?
A contract is voluntary arrangement between two or more parties that is enforceable by law as a legal binding agreement. Contract is a branch of the law of obligations in jurisdictions of the civil law tradition. The contract concerns the rights and duties of the undersigned. Formation of a contract generally requires:
- offer and acceptance;
- an intention between the parties to create binding relations;
- consideration to be paid for the promise made;
- legal capacity of the parties to act;
- genuine consent of the parties; and

How to write a Business Contract between Two Parties
As you enter into a business contract, you need a written proof of the agreement as well as specific terms by which party you are bound. Oral agreements do occur in the small business context, but such agreements are difficult to enforce and are easily misremembered.
Be sure that the terms you write are specific as to each party’s obligations.
Include Payment Details. It’s important to specify how payments are to be made. Contract disputes often center on money, so you need to be specific here.

What is a sample contract?
This agreement governs the relationship between a company and an independent contractor. Many clients prefer to work with written agreements that outline the terms of the project.
