- DO include explanations on why, how, where, or how often the tasks and duties will be performed.
- DON’T list excessive qualifications or experience, which are more than what is actually needed to perform the position.
- DON’T use jargon, abbreviations, or other terms that are misleading to read.
- DON’T base the content of the job description on the skills and capabilities of a single person only.
- DON’T be inflexible with the job description. It should also adjust if there are changes in the company.
