Structuring a qualitative proposal is a great way to present a document that reflects professionalism and effort. Some institutes provide their own proposal template however you can always create your own including the following sections.
- Cover page. The information regarding the cover page are often provided by the institutes, however, make sure to include the title, the name and profession of the researcher, some space for signatures for the researcher(s) and the institute committee, and lastly contact information for the author.
- It is a brief synopsis of the proposal that is supposed to prepare the reader for what the proposal contains and what the subject of the research is. Its length should be between 250 – 300 words long and at its end it is advised to provide a number of key words.
- It is the section that informs the reader about what the research problem and the question the researcher chose to work on.
