Contrary to fiction which is made through the author’s imagination, nonfiction shows us the truth we can’t bear to hear all at once. In writing a nonfiction book, follow these simple steps.

1. Learning the ropes of nonfiction.

First, you have to understand the genre as a whole. It is factual writing. Anything and everything can be written about, with topics ranging from health, science, business, history, and technology. What you also have to understand about nonfiction is you have to show your readers about the topic. Telling them is merely not enough. Nonfiction also aims to shed light on the topics that are fairly shied away in conversations. You have to know that in writing one, you can do it like writing fiction but it’s more grounded with facts and backed up with research. The sources of your information are really important.
