Astrophotography is a type of photography to capture astronomical pictures and objects. The first astrophotograph was taken in 1840 of a moon. But till early 19th century, after the advancement of technology, the astrophotography had a lot of scope to bring out the reality of outer space. These pictures are quite beautiful portraying the outer space. Various cameras were also pioneered in late 19th century.
Such genre is also practiced by various amateur photographers through a normal digital camera as well. Pictures include night sky, star trails which can be easily captured through a normal tripod.
