Missouri IOU (I Owe You)

I. Parties

This IOU Agreement ("Agreement") is made this [DAY] day of [MONTH], [YEAR], by and between:

Borrower: [YOUR NAME], operating under the business name [YOUR COMPANY NAME], with a business address at [YOUR COMPANY ADDRESS] and contact information including email [YOUR COMPANY EMAIL], phone number [YOUR COMPANY NUMBER], website [YOUR COMPANY WEBSITE], and social media page [YOUR COMPANY SOCIAL MEDIA] ("Borrower").

Lender: [LENDER NAME] with contact information as [LENDER ADDRESS], and [LENDER CONTACT NUMBER] ("Lender").

II. Principal Amount

The principal amount of the debt acknowledged by the Borrower to the Lender is [PRINCIPAL AMOUNT] (USD).

III. Promise to Pay

The Borrower unconditionally promises to pay the Lender [PRINCIPAL AMOUNT] in United States Dollars without setoff or deduction, under the terms agreed upon here.

IV. Repayment Terms

The full repayment of the principal amount is due on or before [DUE DATE], payable either in a lump sum or according to a payment schedule as provided in Exhibit A (Payment Schedule) which is attached hereto and made part of this Agreement.

V. Interest

No interest shall be charged on the principal amount unless payment is overdue. Payments received after [DUE DATE] shall be subject to an annual interest rate of [INTEREST RATE] percent.

VI. Prepayment

The Borrower may prepay this loan in whole or in part at any time without penalty.

VII. Default

In the event of default, where the Borrower fails to pay the principal amount by [DUE DATE], the entire amount shall become due and payable upon demand by the Lender. Additional charges for late payment may apply and will accrue as stated in Section V (Interest).

VIII. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.

IX. Amendment

This IOU Agreement may only be amended or modified by a written agreement signed by both the Borrower and the Lender.

X. Signatures

Each party is signing this Agreement on the date stated opposite that party's signature.
