How to Access Google Classroom
Google Classroom is where teachers and students can hang out for an easy, convenient, and transformative learning experience. And this short how-to article teaches you how to access Google Classroom in easy steps.
How to Access Google Classroom
-
Step 1: Access Google Classroom on Any Device
For PC and laptop users, you can access Google Classroom by typing https://classroom.google.com on your browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, Internet Explorer, etc). If you are using mobile gadgets or tablets, you need to download the Google Classroom App in the Google Play Store or the Apple Store (for Macs, iPhones, and iPads).

Step 2: Sign In To Your Account
Your next step is to sign in with your account. There are two types of Google accounts that you can use to sign in to Google Classroom: a G Suite For Education account and the personal Google user account. In the case that your school owns the account, ask for the login details to access Google Classroom. For parents who want to access their child’s account, you can use the student’s log-in details providing you are authorized to do so.
For Android and iGadget users, simply tap the app on your screen and enter your account details.
Why can’t I download Google Classroom on my mobile?
If you find yourself having a hard time downloading Google Classroom on your gadget, it might be because your storage is full. When your storage capacity is maxed, the app will automatically stop downloading. Check your storage and clean up unnecessary files to make space for the app.
When I opened the mobile app, it says “not compatible with device”.
First, you need to check your gadget’s OS (iOS for iPhones and iPads) version. Google Classroom is, unfortunately, not compatible with some OS/iOS versions on mobile. If possible, update your phone. You can also try uninstalling and reinstalling the app.
When I enter my account details, a denied access warning pops up. Any solution?
Your best bet to log in successfully to Google Classroom is to have the correct account details such as email address and password. If you are using a G Suite for Education account for Workspace, you can get the correct sign-in details from another teacher, classroom administrator, or the school head. If you are a new teacher or student, make sure that you are allowed to gain access from the teacher or principal.
