Step 1: Sign In With Your Account.
To create a Gmail account, go directly to . If you do not have an on your browser, you can open gmail.com and choose Use another account. Then, click Create account and select For myself, For my child, or To manage my business for a business email account.

Step 2: Fill Out Textboxes for the Name, Password, and Username for Gmail.
After opening https://accounts.google.com/signup, write your name and username. Google will prompt you if another user has used the username you want. You can either create a unique username between 6 to 30 characters or use the suggested name by Google. Then, create a password minimum of 8 characters and make it extra secure by adding symbols, numbers, and capitalizations.

Step 3: Enter Birthdate, Phone Number, and Recovery Email.
The next information to add is the birth date. Add a phone number for the 2-step verification process to secure your account. Make sure the phone number is currently active since Gmail will send codes for logins and any Gmail configuration related to Gmail. Then, add a recovery email address. If you forget your login credentials, you can use the recovery email address to open your account again.

Can I Create a Gmail Account Using the Mobile App?
Absolutely! Open the Gmail mobile app and head to the account icon. Then, add another account, and next, Google. From the Sign-in screen, tap Create an account and choose between For myself, For my child, or To manage my Business.
Do I Need to Add My Phone Number?
Google does not require you to add a phone number while creating your Gmail account. But for security reasons and to receive any verification code, adding a phone number is highly recommended. You can enable the 2-step verification and improve the security of your account.
Should I Set up a Backup Email Account?
Like the phone number, Google does not require you to have a backup email account. You can also rely on your phone number for account recovery. What Do You Do if the Gmail Username Has Already Been Taken?
