With the developing curriculum, parents may not have the necessary knowledge to guide their child through homework or provide any additional support at home. This is where a worksheet can be used to help the child with furthering their learning at home.
Research has shown that in early childhood, worksheets are highly recommended and mainly for assessment purposes. Worksheets can be used as assessment tools by the teachers to understand the knowledge of the students, the outcome of their learning as well as the process of learning. They can also be used to allow the students to monitor the progress of their learning.
