Dear Ms. Jones,

I am deeply grateful for my time spent at Academia Nova; however, I am writing to formally submit my request for a transfer to another university. I would like the said transfer to be effective by 30th August 2085.

This decision has been made due to personal reasons that are more suitably addressed by the locale of the new institution. In the new university, I will embrace new responsibilities under a new reporting structure with equal or more fervor.
