Job Summary/Objective

The Birth-Kindergarten Educator will be responsible for implementing educational programming that fosters holistic development for children, focusing on language development, motor skills, and fundamental cognitive abilities. The educator will plan, coordinate, and lead activities that promote a positive learning experience and facilitate social and emotional growth.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the needs of each child.

• Create a stimulating and safe environment that encourages learning and exploration.

• Monitor and record the developmental milestones and progress of each child.

• Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and activities.

• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions as required.

Qualifications

The candidate must have:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

• State certification to teach children from birth to kindergarten.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in early childhood education.

• First Aid and CPR credentials.

• Clearance from the State Bureau of Investigation and Drug Screening.
