The Middle School Teacher acts as a navigator for students transitioning from elementary years to adolescence, supporting both their academic and socio-emotional growth. They orchestrate a positive and dynamic learning environment that will cultivate the students' intellectual resilience and emotional well-being, enabling them to navigate the challenges and opportunities of their middle school years effectively.

Responsibilities and Duties

Developing lesson plans that meet varied students’ learning needs and implementing interesting learning strategies.
Evaluating and communicating students’ educational growth and progress via both formal and informal assessments.
Collaborating with other professionals to support student learning and emotional well-being.
Facilitating and encouraging parent involvement in students’ education.
Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field, with a valid teaching license.
Proven experience as a Middle School Teacher.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Expertise in the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
Adaptable with the ability to work with a diverse group of students.
