Job Title: Horse Farm Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Horse Farm Manager to oversee all operations at our equine facility. The successful applicant will be committed to ensuring the well-being and optimal performance of the horses, coordinating staff, maintaining facilities, and liaising with veterinarians, farriers, trainers, and owners.

Qualifications and skills

• A minimum of 5 years' experience in an equine management role.

• Solid understanding and knowledge of horse care, maintenance, and equipment.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in all weather conditions.

• Detailed knowledge of horse health and disease prevention.

• Sound administrative skills including IT literacy and financial budgeting.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Providing optimal care and management of horses, including nutrition and health regimes.

• Managing staff and resources efficiently and effectively.

• Maintaining records pertaining to horse health and breeding.

• Coordinating with other equestrian professionals, such as trainers and vets.

• Supervising general farm maintenance and security.

Additional Requirements

Must be willing to work irregular hours, including weekends, and be on-call for emergencies.
