Job Title: Police Captain
We are seeking for a seasoned professional to join our force as a Police Captain. Our Police Captains serve as the leaders of our department, steering their crew towards our mission to protect and serve our community. Responsibilities and Duties:
As a Police Captain, your main responsibility will be the command and daily management of a division within the police department. This includes, but is not limited to:
Directing, planning, and coordinating activities for all personnel under your command
Creating schedules and duty assignments
Ensuring enforcement of laws and ordinances
Reviewing and responding to staff and public inquiries and complaints
Developing and implementing staff training programs
Preparing detailed reports on division activities
Qualifications and Skills:
The following qualifications and skills are required for this position:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 10 years of experience in law enforcement
Minimum 5 years in a supervisory role
Proven leadership skills and ability to command respect
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to make critical decisions in high-pressure situations
Additional Requirements:
The following additional requirements must be met:
Completion of advanced courses and seminars in police management and supervision
Must be familiar with law enforcement principles and procedures, criminal codes and laws, and crime prevention methods.
