Job Title: Data Center Engineer

As a Data Center Engineer, you will be the backbone of our company, making sure our information systems stay up and running smoothly. This is a critical job that requires a sharp attention to detail, a cool head under pressure and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• An associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

• Strong understanding of the basic principles of network design and management.

• Familiarity with data center best practices, including security measures and energy consumption standards.

• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience diagnosing and repairing hardware and software issues.

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Design, manage and maintain our company's data center infrastructure.

• Respond quickly and effectively to any network or system outages or disruptions.

• Perform routine system maintenance and backups, ensuring minimal disruption to users.

• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement system improvements and upgrades.

• Monitor and manage energy consumption within the data center.

Experience:

Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a data center environment. Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or similar are highly desirable.
