Job Description:

Our company is in search of a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts and payments. The successful candidate will play a significant part in our financial department, aimed at maintaining our company's financial transparency and integrity.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.

  • Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct daybook, suppliers' ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.

  • Perform monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.

  • Conduct reconciliation of all accounts on an as-needed basis.

  • Maintain the strictest confidentiality of all financial records.

Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:

  • A minimum of an associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

  • In-depth knowledge of bookkeeping theories and practices.

  • Strong numerical skills.

  • High level of efficiency and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

Necessary Experience:

-A minimum of three years of relevant experience in a similar role is required.

Additional Requirements:

-Knowledge of the QuickBooks accounting software is an added advantage.
