Job Description:

GreenEnergy Corp is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Accounting Staff to ensure efficient, accurate financial operations within our company. You will be responsible for maintaining and updating financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, executing bank reconciliation, processing employee expenses, and assisting in the preparation of periodic financial reports. If you have a head for numbers and are driven by accuracy and problem-solving, we’d love to meet you.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain and update financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.

  • Ensure all financial transactions are accurately and timely recorded.

  • Process invoices and payments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.

  • Follow up on overdue accounts receivable and assist in collections efforts.

  • Reconcile monthly bank statements, resolving any discrepancies.

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Analyze financial reports to identify trends and variances.

  • Review and process employee expense reports, ensuring compliance with company policies.

  • Monitor and control expenses to meet budgetary guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.

  • Proven experience as an accounting staff member, with a focus on financial record keeping.

  • Detailed understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Experience:

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar role is required.

Additional Requirements:

Certification such as CPA is beneficial but not mandatory.
