Job Title: Manufacturing Automation Engineer

This role encompasses task automation, troubleshooting machinery, and improving operational efficiency in our bustling production line. The position requires a hands-on approach and commitment to problem-solving within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Improving manufacturing process performance by increasing productivity, eliminating waste, reducing delay time, and giving the best output.

• Developing and optimizing automated manufacturing processes to bring new products to market and enhance existing products.

• Assisting with any technical issues that arise within our production line, and troubleshooting as needed.

• Designing necessary machines, implementing the use of robotics, and automating the manufacturing process.

Qualifications and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

• Demonstrable experience in manufacturing automation.

• Excellent technical and practical competence relating to automation and mechanical engineering.

• Strong project management abilities.

• A creative mindset is necessary for problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Experience

At least 2 years of experience in an automation role within the manufacturing industry is essential, as is experience with project management and staff supervision. Knowledge of key manufacturing processes, health & safety measures, and relevant engineering software is also required.
