Reporting changes in patients’ physical, mental, and emotional conditions to the nursing staff.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Strong understanding of medical terminology, healthcare procedures, and patient care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving patients.
Compassionate and patient demeanor.
Work Environment
The CNA will work in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, and outpatient facilities. The job may require long hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
