1. Appointment:

1.1 Appointment of the Executive Assistant

The Employer hereby appoints the Executive Assistant to the position of Executive Assistant, effective as of [Start Date]. The Executive Assistant agrees to accept such appointment under the terms and conditions outlined in this Contract.

2 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing the executive's calendar and scheduling appointments.

  • Coordinating travel arrangements and accommodations.

  • Handling correspondence and communications, both internal and external.

  • Assisting with meeting preparation, documentation, and follow-up.

  • Conducting research and preparing reports as required.

  • Providing administrative support as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the executive's office.

2.2 Performance Expectations

The Executive Assistant shall perform all duties diligently, efficiently, and professionally, consistent with the standards and expectations set forth by the Employer. The Executive Assistant shall adhere to all policies, procedures, and guidelines established by the Employer.

2.3 Reporting Requirements

The Executive Assistant shall provide regular updates and reports to [Supervisor's Name] regarding the status of assigned tasks, projects, and responsibilities.

3 Compensation

3.1 Salary or Hourly Wage

The Executive Assistant shall receive a salary of $50,000 per annum payable bi-weekly.

3.2 Payment Schedule

Salary payments shall be made on the 15th and last day of each month unless otherwise specified by the Employer.

3.3 Benefits

The Executive Assistant may be eligible for employee benefits under the policies and procedures established by the Employer, including but not limited to health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

4 Term and Termination

4.1 Duration of Contract:

5 Confidentiality

5.2 Handling of Confidential Information

The Executive Assistant shall not disclose, directly or indirectly, any confidential information obtained during employment, except as required by law or with the prior written consent of the Employer.

6. Non-Compete and Non-Solicitation

6.1 Restrictions on Competing

During the term of employment and for one (1) year following termination, the Executive Assistant shall not engage in any business activity that competes with the Employer's business or interests without the prior written consent of the Employer.

6.2 Restrictions on Solicitation

During the term of employment and for one (1) year following termination, the Executive Assistant shall not solicit or attempt to solicit any clients, customers, or employees of the Employer for any purpose whatsoever.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Ownership of Work Product

Any work product, inventions, or intellectual property created by the Executive Assistant during employment shall be the exclusive property of the Employer, and the Executive Assistant hereby assigns all rights, title, and interest therein to the Employer.

8. Indemnification

The Employer shall indemnify and hold harmless the Executive Assistant from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to actions taken by the Executive Assistant within the scope of employment, to the extent permitted by law.

9. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

9.1 Jurisdiction and Applicable Law

This Contract shall be governed by and construed under the laws of [Jurisdiction]. Any disputes arising out of or related to this Contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [Jurisdiction].

9.2 Dispute Resolution Mechanism

10 Miscellaneous
