1. SCOPE OF SERVICES

1.4 Background Checks

The Investigator shall conduct comprehensive background checks on individuals associated with the investigation, including but not limited to subjects of interest, witnesses, and relevant parties. This may involve researching public records, employment history, criminal records, financial records, and other pertinent information.

1.5 Research and Analysis

The Investigator shall conduct thorough research and analysis to uncover relevant facts, patterns, and connections pertinent to the investigation. This may include reviewing documents, analyzing data, and performing investigative research using various sources and methodologies.

1.6 Report Preparation

Upon completion of the investigation, the Investigator shall prepare a detailed written report outlining the findings, conclusions, and recommendations based on the investigation. The report shall be provided to the Client promptly and in a format agreed upon by both parties.

1.7 Additional Services

The Investigator may, at the discretion of the Client and upon mutual agreement, provide additional services beyond the scope outlined above. Any such additional services shall be documented in writing and incorporated into this Contract as necessary.

2. FEES AND PAYMENT TERMS

2.1 Fee Structure

The Investigator's compensation and payment terms are outlined as follows:

  • Fees are based on an agreed-upon weekly structure.

  • Payment is due within 15 days of invoice issuance.

2.2 Expenses

The Client shall reimburse reasonable expenses incurred during the investigation, such as travel and equipment rental.

2.3 Late Payment

Late payment may incur charges and could lead to service suspension or contract termination.

2.4 Disputes

2.5 Taxes

3.4 Exceptions

Confidentiality obligations do not apply if the information is publicly available, already known to the Investigator, independently developed, or legally required to be disclosed.

4. INDEMNIFICATION

The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Investigator from any damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses incurred as a result of the performance of the Services, except to the extent caused by the Investigator's gross negligence or willful misconduct.

5. TERMINATION CONDITIONS

5.1 Notice Period

Upon deciding to terminate this Contract, either party must provide written notice to the other party. The notice period for termination shall be 30 days unless otherwise specified in the agreement.

5.2 Effective Date of Termination

Termination of this Contract shall take effect upon the expiration of the notice period specified in Section 5.1. The parties agree to cooperate in good faith to ensure a smooth transition and conclusion of any outstanding matters related to the investigation.

6. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
