DermTech Diagnostics is seeking a highly organized and professional individual for the position of Medical Front Desk. The successful candidate will undertake a range of duties including patient check-in and check-out, answering phone and email inquiries, managing medical records, and coordinating appointments.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Greet patients and visitors warmly and professionally.

  • Verify patient details and insurance information.

  • Collect and process co-payments and fees.

  • Answer incoming calls, provide information or forward calls to the appropriate department.

  • Respond promptly and professionally to email inquiries.

  • Maintain and update patient records according to privacy regulations.

  • Assist with the release of medical records as needed.

  • Coordinate patient appointments and manage the schedule.

  • Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up on missed ones.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies:

Candidates should have relevant experience in a medical front desk role, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive patient information with discretion. Knowledge of medical billing and coding is also preferred.
