The successful candidate will master the art of multitasking, managing patient registration and check-in, scheduling and appointment management, medical records maintenance, and insurance verification and billing. Combining medical understanding with admin skills, this role is suited for individuals passionate about patient care and efficient healthcare operations.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Warmly greet patients and carry out their registration and check-in processes.

Verify patient information and collect insurance and personal details, adhering strictly to HIPAA compliance.

Diligently manage patient appointments, surgeries, and follow-up visits.

Liaise between healthcare providers and patients to reschedule appointments where necessary.

Disseminate appointment reminders to patients via phone, email, or text.

Keep electronic and paper medical records updated and facilitate on-demand access while ensuring absolute confidentiality.

Process medical records requests in line with privacy regulations.

Verify patient insurance credentials and eligibility while assisting with insurance claims preparation and billing.

Address patient inquiries about insurance coverage and billing discrepancies with a keen focus on customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a related field.

Proven experience as a Medical Administrative Assistant or similar role.
