Dear Cindy Schneider,

I am writing to confirm the terms of your basic car rental agreement signed as of this date. The terms of our agreement clearly provide for the usage of the car, the appropriate rent and the rights and responsibilities of both parties involved.

The rental period for the car will commence immediately upon your signing of this agreement and will continue in effect until such time as either party chooses to terminate it with written notice.

As the renter, you will be fully responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the car. Should any damages occur during your rental period, such costs will fall upon you to repair or replace as necessary.

The total rental cost as agreed upon will be payable in advance of the rental period. This agreement is governed by local rental laws and regulations.
