Job Title: Cashier
Welcome to the front lines. As a Cashier, your job is to ensure that every customer interaction is a pleasant one. You are the last person a customer deals with, and as such, your role is to ensure their shopping experience ends on a high note. You are responsible for ringing up their purchases and processing payments.
Responsibilities and Duties

Scan and ring up customer purchases

Properly process different payment methods: cash, debit/credit cards, coupons, etc.

Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and managing inquiries with a smile

Reconcile cash register drawers at the start and end of each shift

Maintain adequate change denomination in the cash register
Qualifications
Anyone can operate a cash register. To succeed in this role, you need more than that. Here's what we're looking for:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Previous retail experience is preferred

Basic math skills to count, add, and change money amounts

High customer service standards

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
