Job Title: Hotel Cashier

A no-nonsense yet critical role, the Hotel Cashier is the gatekeeper of our hotel's finances. As an employee in this position, you will carry out financial transactions, keeping track of all money and credit that come and go in our establishment.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Handle all cash transactions efficiently and accurately

• Receive payment by cash, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits

• Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to guests

• Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts and ensure that amounts are correct

• Resolve guest complaints or refer them to management

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

We are looking for a candidate who:

• Has a high school diploma or equivalent

• Has experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality sector

• Can handle money responsibly and accurately

• Has excellent customer service skills

• Can handle situations with grace under pressure

• Is meticulous and observant

Additional Requirements

• Have experience with front desk operations
