Job Title: Bank Cashier

Responsibilities and Duties:

As a Bank Cashier, you will:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly yet professional manner.

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues swiftly.

• Provide information on banking products and services, promoting a customer-centric approach.

• Accept and process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately.

• Verify the genuineness of cash, checks, and other financial instruments.

• Maintain balance of cash drawers at the start and end of the day, ensuring accuracy.

• Record and process a range of banking transactions, like account transfers, currency exchanges, and check cashing.

• Adhere to established procedures for processing transactions efficiently and securely.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Bank Cashier or similar role.

• Proficient in MS Office tools and banking software.

• Demonstrated ability in cash handling and transaction processing.

• Excellent communication skills and customer-oriented attitude.

• Honed numerical skills and attention to detail.

Additional Requirements:

Must pass a criminal background check and credit check. A degree in Finance or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
