Job Summary:
The Restaurant Cashier will primarily be the first point of contact for SeaHarbor Fish Shack customers and will carry out customer service and cashier responsibilities. This will include greeting customers, handling queries, taking orders, processing payments, and resolving any customer concerns or complaints professionally, thereby ensuring our customers have an exceptional dining experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Prior experience in a similar capacity in the restaurant industry is preferred. Proficiency in operating Point of Sale (POS) system and strong verbal communication skills to deliver excellent customer service. Ability to work independently and as part of the team, with strong multitasking skills to handle various customer service roles efficiently.
Responsibilities and Duties:

Greet customers entering SeaHarbor Fish Shack in a friendly and welcoming manner.

Provide accurate information regarding menu items, prices and promotions, as well as daily specials.

Process customer orders into the POS system, verifying dietary restrictions and special requests.

Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure prompt and accurate order preparation and delivery.

Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and courteously, escalating to management when required.
