Job Title: Retail Cashier

We are searching for an attentive Retail Cashier to join our team who will handle customer transactions and provide a first-class shopping experience. We need a hands-on individual who can ensure the smooth and efficient processing of sales transactions, maintain daily cash balances, and deliver exceptional service to our customers at all times.

Responsibilities and Duties

Managing all cash register operations and ensuring accurate transactions.
Professionally handle customer interactions, inquiries, and complaints.
Facilitate customer transactions using Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Assist with floor sales and customer queries to generate sales.
Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area in compliance with company policy.
Collaborate with the team to meet sales objectives and enhance customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or equivalent as a minimum.
Prior experience in a customer service role is preferred.
Proficiency in managing transactions and handling cash, credit, and debit cards.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to maintain poise under pressure.

Additional Requirements

Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 25 lbs.
