Job Description:

Pinecrest Academy is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented School Office Assistant to join our administrative team. The school office assistant will provide administrative support to our school office staff, handle reception duties, be responsible for record maintenance, perform data entry tasks, and facilitate communication with parents, students, and staff.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide full administrative support to the entire school office staff, including the principals, vice principals, counselors, and other administrative personnel.

  • Handle front desk reception duties, greet visitors, students, and parents, direct them to the appropriate office or personnel, answer phone calls, take messages, and provide general information.

  • Responsible for the maintenance and updating of student records, attendance records, and other school-related documents. Ensuring the accuracy and confidentiality of these records.

  • Perform data entry tasks - inputting and managing data including student enrollment, scheduling, and attendance tracking using computer software and databases.

  • Communicate with parents, students, and staff members about various school-related matters, including scheduling, events, and student issues.

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

The successful candidate for this position will preferably have a high school diploma or equivalent and proven experience in an administrative role. They should possess strong communication skills, high levels of organization, a keen attention to detail, proficiency in using computer software and databases, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
