Job Title: Training Officer
Our organization is in need of a Training Officer responsible for the planning, coordinating, and implementation of training programs. The selected candidate will possess a hands-on, can-do attitude, with the patience and energy to oversee the training needs of our diverse staff. Equal parts strategic and tactical, this role requires on-the-spot thinking, deep knowledge of training development, and the ability to drive innovation and progression within the team.
Responsibilities and Duties
Create and execute learning strategies and programs
Evaluate individual and organizational development needs
Implement various learning methods throughout the company
Design and deliver e-learning courses and workshops
Keep abreast of training trends and developments
Maintain a database of curriculum and training records
Manage training budgets
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
Must possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in training, teaching, or a related role is required.
Excellent organizational skills, and an understanding of effective teaching methodologies.
Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems are a must.
Experience
A minimum of three years in a training role within a professional setting or relevant work experience is required.
Experience with organizational development and/or curriculum development will be considered when selecting final candidates.
Additional Requirements
The selected candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team while working in a fast-paced environment.
