Job Title: Training Officer

Our organization is in need of a Training Officer responsible for the planning, coordinating, and implementation of training programs. The selected candidate will possess a hands-on, can-do attitude, with the patience and energy to oversee the training needs of our diverse staff. Equal parts strategic and tactical, this role requires on-the-spot thinking, deep knowledge of training development, and the ability to drive innovation and progression within the team.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Create and execute learning strategies and programs

  • Evaluate individual and organizational development needs

  • Implement various learning methods throughout the company

  • Design and deliver e-learning courses and workshops

  • Keep abreast of training trends and developments

  • Maintain a database of curriculum and training records

  • Manage training budgets

Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies

  • Must possess a bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in training, teaching, or a related role is required.

  • Excellent organizational skills, and an understanding of effective teaching methodologies.

  • Proficiency in MS Office and Learning Management Systems are a must.

Experience

  • A minimum of three years in a training role within a professional setting or relevant work experience is required.

  • Experience with organizational development and/or curriculum development will be considered when selecting final candidates.

Additional Requirements

The selected candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to lead and inspire a team while working in a fast-paced environment.
