Please accept my resignation as your company’s independent contractor for [DETAIL]. As per our independent contractor agreement, I am giving you a month’s notice of my resignation. The effective date of my resignation is on [EFFECTIVE DATE]. 

Since we have not come to an agreement to increase my compensation in relation to the increased volume of work, I am left with no choice but to cease from putting forth any time and talent on your project. However, I will complete any unfinished work which has been assigned to me prior to the additional work that the company has assigned without an accompanied consideration. 

Despite all this, I have enjoyed working with the company and I am thankful for the opportunities it has presented for my professional growth. It is truly unfortunate that my resignation has to be necessary, however, I believe that this decision is in my best interest as well as for the company. I wish your company more power and success in the future.
