Template.net AI (“Template.net,” “we,” “our,” “us”) provides access to AI tools, templates, credits, cloud storage, and digital downloads. Because our products are digital and usable immediately, we follow a transparent, industry-standard refund policy.
1. General Refund Policy
All sales are final.
We do not issue refunds for:
- Subscription renewals
- Accidental purchases
- Early cancellation
- Unused credits
- Digital files already downloaded
Digital products and AI credits cannot be “returned,” so refunds are only granted in specific circumstances described below. This is industry standard practice.
2. When Refunds Are Allowed
We provide refunds in limited cases:
✔ 2.1 Duplicate or Double Charges
If you were charged twice for the same plan, we will refund the duplicate payment.
✔ 2.2 Technical Issues Preventing Access
If you were unable to access your paid plan due to a verified technical error on our side, and the issue is not resolved, a refund may be approved.
✔ 2.3 Unauthorized or Fraudulent Payment
If a payment was made without your permission, we can investigate and refund after verification.
✔ 2.4 Legal Requirements (EU/EEA)
Under EU consumer rights, you may request a refund within 14 days, unless you:
- Activated your subscription
- Used any AI credits
- Downloaded templates
- Used premium features
Once digital access starts, the right of withdrawal is legally waived.
3. Subscriptions, Renewals & Cancellations
✔ 3.1 Renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
✔ 3.2 Cancellation
You may cancel anytime; cancellation stops future renewals.
✔ 3.3 No Refunds for Renewals
We do not refund subscription renewals if:
- The plan was active
- The renewal date passed
- Premium features or credits were used
- The account owner forgot to cancel
Stripe requires cancellation before renewal.
4. Digital Downloads & Credits
✔ 4.1 Digital Files
All digital downloads (documents, templates, images, videos) are non-refundable once accessed.
✔ 4.2 AI Credits
Credits are consumed immediately when generating:
- Documents
- Designs
- Images
- Videos
- Forms
- Charts
Because credits are digital consumables, they cannot be refunded.
✔ 4.3 Shared Credits (Max Plan)
Credits shared by multiple users count as usage. Once used by any user, they cannot be reversed or refunded.
5. EDU, Teams & Multi-User Accounts
For plans that include multiple users (e.g., Max plan):
- Usage by any invited user counts as plan activation
- Refunds cannot be issued once the workspace is in use
- Shared usage does not qualify for refund exceptions
6. Stripe Billing & Payment Security
All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Template.net AI does not store any payment details.
7. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you qualify for one of the eligible refund situations:

- Description of the issue
Refund requests are reviewed within 1-2 business days.
8. Chargebacks
If a chargeback is filed without contacting us first:
- Access to Template.net may be restricted
- Unused credits may be forfeited
- A dispute fee may apply per Stripe rules
We ask customers to contact us before initiating chargebacks.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy to comply with new regulations, payment rules, or product changes. Updates will be posted with a new “Effective Date.”
