Dear Ms. Coaldrake,
I am writing to formally resign from my position as a math teacher at Chestnut High School, with my last day of employment being April 30, 2051. I am highly indebted to the school and staff, which have provided me with a great opportunity to develop not only as an educator but also as an individual.
This was a very challenging decision to make, as I was very thoughtful of the worthwhile associations as well as the students who made my time here more enriching. However, due to personal reasons that require my immediate and full attention, I am unable to continue my services to the school.
I apologize for any inconvenience my departure may cause and am more than willing to assist in the hiring and transition process. Thank you for understanding and supporting my decision. It has been a pleasure working at Chestnut High School.
