Mitigating Factors:
While I understand the importance of adhering to deadlines, the technical issue was beyond my control. I took proactive measures to resolve the problem, including staying after duty hours on January 5, 2050, to finalize the report once the system was restored. Despite these efforts, the report was submitted 10 hours after the deadline.
Conclusion:
I deeply respect the expectations set for timeliness and accountability. I believe that the circumstances surrounding this delay, as outlined above, warrant reconsideration of the concerns raised in the LOC.
