Free Strategic Goals

This strategic goals template provides a structured, step-by-step approach to refining and executing strategic goals. The process begins by directing users to "Start here" and "Review your strategy work - copy from H2 labs here." This initial review involves examining "Vision," "Themes," "Competitive Analysis," and "Strategic Analysis, Issues, Trends." Following this review, the process moves into a phase dedicated to "Ideation: Brainstorm goals and group them," prompting users to engage in brainstorming activities across several categories: "Empathy Mapping," "Competitive Analysis," "Identify & Ideate," and "Prioritize & Plan." These brainstorming outputs then feed into a crucial "Agreement on your Next Iteration" stage, which guides users through a series of reflective questions: "What was on the 'NOW' column last?", "When the work was it, & why, for the last iteration?", "What's the next?", "How will you know when this iteration is complete?", "What will you get for completing this iteration?", "Are these next milestones, lessons, or goals?", and "Can we track progress with milestones each day using 'team check-ins'?" This leads to the "Check for Success" stage, where users confirm their readiness by asking: "Have we got an area strategic goals?", "Have we got at least one goal in each area?", "Do they take our company closer to our vision?", and "Are they SMART goals?"
