A spreadsheet is a computer program in tabular form for an organization, analysis, and storage of data. Spreadsheets have been developed as computerized analogs in worksheets of paper accounting. The software operates on the data inserted into the table cells divided into rows and columns. Each cell may contain either numeric or text data, or formula results that measure and display a value automatically based on the contents of other cells.
