Please accept this note as a formal notification that due to unforeseen circumstances, I, Sarah Wilson, was unable to attend the scheduled event/class. Sadly, events beyond my control conspired to prevent me from fulfilling my obligations and I would like to express my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.
