1. Opening Prayer

3. Review of Previous Meeting Minutes

• Summary of Previous Meeting: Reviewed plans for the Christmas Outreach event and discussed potential youth leadership workshops.

• Action Items Update:

  • Christmas Outreach Event: Successfully held on December 20, 2049. Over 100 youth and community members attended.

  • Youth Leadership Workshop: Initial planning was approved; the team is to create a detailed outline.

4. Agenda Topics

Upcoming Youth Retreat

• Event Date & Time: March 3-5, 2050

• Location: Green Lake Retreat Center

• Volunteers Needed: 3 adults for supervision, 2 drivers

• Budget: Approved at $1,500 for food, transportation, and supplies.

• Notes/Decisions: Registration forms will be distributed by February 1, and the theme will be “Faith in Action.” James will coordinate transportation, while Mia and Sarah will manage on-site activities.

Youth Discipleship Program Update

• Current Progress: Weekly sessions have been consistent, with about 15 youths attending each week.

• Discussion Points: Additional volunteers are needed to support smaller group discussions. Consider inviting guest speakers quarterly.

• Action Steps: Sarah to contact two potential guest speakers and update the team by the next meeting.

Community Outreach Initiatives

• Project Updates: The weekly food distribution program is going well. Several youth have been volunteering regularly, especially on Saturday mornings.

• Volunteer Opportunities: Need more volunteers for setup and cleanup, as well as youth leaders to help manage shifts.

• Next Steps: Alex will create a sign-up sheet for specific volunteer slots. Jessica will create a social media post to encourage more participation.

5. New Business

Youth Leadership Development Weekend Proposal:

• Proposal Summary: A 3-day leadership retreat to equip youth with skills in communication, project management, and mentorship.

• Decision: The team approved the concept. The tentative date is set for June 10-12, 2050, pending location availability.

• Action Required: Mia and Jessica will research venue options and report back by February.

Youth Worship Band Auditions:

• Discussion Points: Auditions for new youth worship band members (guitarist, drummer, and vocalist) are to be held on February 15.

• Next Steps: Announcements will be made during youth group sessions, and audition sign-ups will be available online.
