Basic Tenancy Agreement Sample
I. PARTIES
This Tenancy Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into on January 1, 2061, by and between [YOUR NAME] of [YOUR COMPANY NAME] ("Landlord"), and Elvie Block, located at Minneapolis, MN 55401 ("Tenant").
II. PROPERTY
The Landlord agrees to lease to the Tenant the property located at Minneapolis, MN 55401, including the following items: Refrigerator, Stove, Washer, Dryer, and Microwave ("Premises").
III. TERM
The term of this Agreement shall commence on January 15, 2061, and shall:
Continue on a month-to-month basis. OR
Be a fixed-term lease ending on January 15, 2062.
IV. RENT
The Tenant agrees to pay the Landlord rent in the amount of $2,500 (Two Thousand Five Hundred Dollars) per month, payable on the 1st of each month. Rent shall be paid to the Landlord at [YOUR COMPANY ADDRESS] or as otherwise directed in writing by the Landlord.
V. SECURITY DEPOSIT

VIII. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIRS
The Tenant shall keep the Premises clean and in good condition. The Tenant agrees to notify the Landlord promptly of any damage or required repairs. The Landlord shall be responsible for repairs not caused by the Tenant's negligence.
IX. TERMINATION
Upon the termination of this Agreement, the Tenant shall vacate the Premises and return all keys to the Landlord. Any personal property left behind shall be considered abandoned.
X. GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state of Minnesota.
