Free Sprint Goal Confidence Radar
This "Sprint Confidence Radar" is a tool designed to enable teams to express and track their confidence level throughout a Sprint's duration. The radar chart visually represents confidence on a scale of 1 to 10, with qualitative markers: "STRUGGLING!" at level 2, "ROCKING!" at level 5, and "CRUSHING!" at level 8. The horizontal axis represents "DAYS REMAINING IN THE SPRINT," decreasing from 9 to 0, allowing for a clear temporal context.
The "How to use it:" instructions provide a step-by-step guide for integration into daily scrum routines. First, "On each daily Scrum, at the end/or beginning ask the same questions – How we are feeling about the Sprint Goal today?" This ensures consistent check-ins. Second, "Give the opportunity to every team member to place their vote on the chart," promoting individual expression of confidence. Third, "Discuss the outliers that appear on the chart," encouraging immediate attention to significant deviations in sentiment. Fourth, "Talk to the team on how they can boost their confidence level," fostering proactive problem-solving and support. A "PRO TIP:" advises teams to "Connect the outliers throughout the Sprint and analyse the chart on the team’s retrospective to see how the team’s confidence is rising/falling throughout the Sprint." This encourages retrospective analysis for continuous improvement. The radar aims to provide an interactive and insightful way to gauge team morale and identify potential roadblocks early, ensuring a healthier and more productive sprint.
