Free Value Stream Process Flow
This Value Stream Mapping template is explicitly designed to optimize operations by meticulously tracking the time, resources, and information flow within a process. It serves as a comprehensive visual tool for operations managers, process improvement consultants, and lean practitioners. The user's workflow begins at the Starting point by detailing the initial activity of the value stream. They then proceed through a series of Dedicated process boxes, adding text and identifying risks (warning signs) that may delay the flow. For each step, they plot the Process Time and the non-value-add Lead Time. The final analysis culminates in calculating the total lead and processing times, which provides a data-driven perspective for identifying and eliminating systemic waste to improve overall throughput to the End point.
