Dear Principals and teachers of NexGen Educational Institute,

My name is Rosemary B. Dill, the mother of Alex Dill, currently enrolled in class 7, NexGen educational institute. I apologize for the unexpected absence of my child from school on August 18, 2021. I understand how important regular attendance is. Therefore, I would like to provide an explanation for his missing school on that particular day.

Alex had a sudden medical condition on the said date which required immediate attention and thus his absence from class was unavoidable. He was diagnosed with a high fever and was not in a state to attend school. As advised by our family doctor, he needed complete rest for the day.

I am aware that each school day brings the opportunity for Alex to learn and grow. Please let us know if Alex has any missing assignments or tests that he needs to make up. I assure you this situation is certainly not the norm for Alex. His health has improved drastically, and he will be resuming school from tomorrow onwards.
