Dear Miss Nelson,

Following our recent performance review, we have identified that you have not been meeting the performance standards that we expect from people in your position.

With regret, we have made the decision to extend your probationary period for another three months commencing from July 10, 2050. This decision has been difficult but necessary in order for us to evaluate if you can sustain the challenges and demands of your role. The areas that we identified needing improvement were time management, task completion, professionalism and ability to work as a team.

We believe that you have the potential to be successful within our company and we encourage your dedication to improving in these areas. Please reach out to us or your direct supervisor if you require any assistance or coaching.

We will review your performance again at the end of the extension period. Depending on improvements made, we may choose to conclude your probationary status or discuss other possible options.

Thank you for your efforts thus far, and we hope to see improvement over the next few months.

Sincerely,

Liam Scott
