Volunteer Liability Waiver

I, [YOUR NAME], hereby acknowledge that I am voluntarily participating in activities organized by Denver Community Outreach as a volunteer. I understand that my participation may involve certain risks, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or other losses while engaging in activities such as community gardening, local food drives, and neighborhood clean-ups.

I. Release of Liability

I hereby release, waive, and discharge Denver Community Outreach, its officers, employees, agents, and volunteers from any claims, liabilities, or damages arising out of my participation in the activities, including but not limited to any injury or damage that may occur during transportation to and from event locations.

II. Assumption of Risks

I acknowledge that I am aware of the risks involved in the activities, including potential exposure to inclement weather, interactions with other volunteers, and the physical demands of the tasks, and I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation.

III. Indemnification

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Denver Community Outreach from any claims, losses, or damages arising from my participation, including any legal fees incurred by Denver Community Outreach related to such claims.

IV. Medical Treatment

In case of an emergency, I grant permission to Denver Community Outreach to administer first aid and seek medical attention if necessary. I also acknowledge that it is my responsibility to inform the organization of any medical conditions or allergies before participation.

V. Governing Law

This waiver shall be governed by the laws of the state of Colorado.
