Store Manager Job Description

As a Store Manager, you will be tasked with the responsibility of overseeing daily operations, managing store personnel, maintaining inventory, and ensuring that the store performance is aligned with set goals and targets.

Responsibilities and Duties
Recruit, train, supervise, and manage store personnel
Create employee schedules and delegate tasks effectively
Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff
Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations
Oversee day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures
Qualifications, Skills, and Competencies
High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration is a plus
Proven experience as a Store Manager in a grocery environment
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Strong organizational abilities with great attention to detail
Proficient in MS Office Suite and store management software
Outstanding communication skills and customer service orientation
Necessary Experience
Previous managerial experience in a grocery store or related field is required, preferably 3+ years.
Additional Requirements
The applicant must be willing to work extended hours, including weekend shifts and holidays, based on operational needs.
