/Dayton Solutions is currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable, including negotiating favorable terms with key suppliers, monitoring payment terms, ensuring compliance with policies, and supervising the accounts payable team.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Lead and manage the accounts payable team to ensure efficiency and accuracy in accounting tasks.

• Monitor payment terms and take advantage of early payment discounts.

• Negotiate favorable payment terms with key suppliers to improve cash flow.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and wider accounting principles.

• Reconcile accounts regularly and prepare reports for management about the financial status and risks.

• Analyze and improve the accounts payable processes to increase efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or related field.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles to handle accounts payable duties efficiently.

• Excellent negotiation skills for establishing favorable terms with suppliers.

• Strong analytical skills for creating accurate and useful management reports.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar managerial role.

• Proven experience negotiating terms with suppliers and managing a team.

• The ability to handle heavy workloads and to remain calm under pressure.
